AbouT FRANCESCO
20 years. Countless stories. One mission: to elevate every narrative with music that resonates.
For over 20 years, Francesco D’Andrea has been crafting compelling soundtracks that move audiences across cinema, television, and gaming.
Known for scoring the award-winning feature film Spaghetti Story (directed by Ciro De Caro), Amazon Prime’s series The Moth Effect, and the animated series Monster Loving Maniacs, his work sits at the intersection of narrative depth and sonic precision.
Most recently, in 2026, his evocative composition “The Doubt” was showcased in the TV series The Story of His Maid, directed by Vladislav Nikolaev. In the realm of video games, he has scored the adrenaline of the NASCAR PlayStation franchise as well as the global mobile phenomenon King’s League, played by millions worldwide. Driven by a dedicated focus, his mission is clear: to elevate storytelling through music.
Originally from Naples, Italy and now based in France, Francesco’s formal foundation was established at the renowned Saint Louis College of Music in Rome. Studying initially as a guitarist with the goal of becoming a session player, he underwent rigorous training in jazz harmony and arrangement. This formative period cultivated a versatile rock, pop, and funk background, eventually leading him to found and serve as lead guitarist for the UK rock band Black Market Aftermath.
Discovering a passion for orchestral composition, Francesco went on to specialize in symphonic writing, seamlessly blending rich classical orchestrations with his dynamic contemporary production roots.
Over the course of his career, Francesco’s compositions have reached international audiences across diverse media formats. His music has driven high-profile global advertising campaigns, including IKEA’s “The Book that will Change Your Life”, Coca-Cola, Honda, and a major Versace commercial starring Dua Lipa that prominently featured his music.
On screen, his tracks have been placed in the action thriller Gutshot Straight (starring Steven Seagal) and the hit series River Monsters, alongside features on major networks such as Netflix, BBC, NBC, HBO, and FOX. Key career highlights also include scoring the acclaimed “Temple” TV series trailer and contributing to the cinematic campaign The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza—a project recognized with the World’s Best Tourism Film at the CIFFT Awards, the Grand Prix at Japan’s World Tourism Film Festival, and multiple Gold Awards at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
Expanding into concert performance, he was also commissioned to compose an original Overture for the MYSO Orchestra of Atlanta.
Continuously expanding his cinematic vocabulary, Francesco was selected in 2026 to participate in an exclusive film composition workshop at the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS) in London. During this intensive program, he worked under the guidance of prominent industry mentors, including Stuart Earl (“Black Mirror”, “And Then There Were None”), John Keane (“Anna Karenina”, “Mansfield Park”), and Stefano Fasce (“The Memory of The Seagulls”, “In Loving Memories”).
Guiding every project through the entire creative journey, from the initial brief and spotting sessions to scoring, recording, mixing, and mastering, Francesco D’Andrea delivers an approach where passion meets precision, turning creative concepts into unforgettable sound.
